  • Model: NACS-RO-7

Description

This 900mm Inglenook Super Scrub head is designed to fit onto the Rodtech Click rod system, to allow cleaning of the largest flues seemingly effortlessly, yet producing one of the cleanest results possible. This Super Scrub Whip/brush has been designed to clean flues 500mm and greater (20 inches and larger).
The brush heads contain nylon which aid the sweeping of chimneys cleanly. They are six sided strands which generate flat sides to enhance the cleaning process. As the whips can turn clockwise and anti-clockwise they are able to cover chimneys with ease.
The nylon strands can be replaced, so the heads can be used for years to come which makes them far more cost effective then there tradition brush equivalents.
Further more you only require a few heads to cover most of your day to day cleaning needs saving you both space and time in choosing the right brush for the job. You no longer need to carry the vast range of brushes that are required by the old fashioned hand sweeping method. They also have the advantage of being able to expand to fit the chimney through centrifugal force which ensures the head staying centralised to the flue and gives a far larger field of contact then the old brush system it replaces. In Flues greater than 500mm (20inches) you must ensure that you use one direction going up the flue and the reverse on its decent (clockwise/anticlockwise) you may also have to repeat this process a couple of times to ensure the best clean a large flue can ever get.

This is the 900mm Super Scrub head that has been strung to make it suitable for inglenooks and very large flues. The speed of the drill determines the force generated to clean the chimney. It is always advised to use low speeds in pre 1966 chimneys. Further it is advised that you use this head with the 18mm rods and a minimum 24v cordless drill or preferably 36v. In Exceptionally large flues, you would be advised to use both 18mm solid and 18mm Aluminium rods. It is not advised to use the aluminium rods on their own as they will not flex at all, and always lead with a 18mm solid rod. Please see the 18mm rods for best configurations and further explanations
